Roles of Educational Institution Administrators in Developing Learning Resources of Secondary Schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 25

Abstract

          The aim of this research is to study 1) current condition, desirable condition and 2) role suggestion of school administrators in developing learning community school in Secondary Schools Under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 25. This study collected data from 1148 school administrators and teachers. The sample of population used stratified random sampling by Krejcie & Morgan. The instrument was a questionnaire and the statistics used in the analyze such as frequency, percentage, mean and PNI modified index.
          The findings were as follows: 1) The current situation in the role of the school administrators in the development of the local learning center overall was found to be at a high level (  = 4.19). When considered individually, it was found that the aspect with the highest average (  = 4.22) was the teaching and learning management in accordance with the learning resources. Next, the education of basic information about current conditions problems of learning resources. The aspects with the lowest average (  = 4.15) were education about learning resources development, the desirable conditions it was found that the highest level (  = 4.55). When considered individually, it was found that the aspect with the highest average (4.58 percent) was the evaluation of the use of learning resources. Next, the teaching and learning management in accordance with the learning resources. The aspect with the lowest average (  = 4.52) was education about learning resources development. 2)The recommendations on the role of school administrators in the development of local learning centers in Secondary Schools Under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 25. In order to the opinions of school administrators and teachers in all 5 aspects as follows: the school administrators should encourage the study of new local learning centers, personnel to attend meetings, training, seminars, and provide opportunities for personnel to study and visit other learning sources for knowledge, understanding, importance and awareness of educational activities in the development of local learning centers.
