Student Affair Management in Universities of Art in Shenyang Under Liaoning Province

บทคัดย่อ

           The objectives of this research were: (1) to explore the components of student affair management in universities of art in Shenyang under Liaoning Province, and(2) to propose guidelines for improving student affair management in universities of art in Shenyang under Liaoning Province.The research was a mixed methodology, including qualitative research and quantitative research.The population of this research consisted of administrations and teachers from universities of art in Shenyang under Liaoning Province,totaling 1,513. The sample was determined by Krejcie and Morgan's Table (1970),and obtained by a stratified random sampling technique,totaling 330 samples. The key informants consisted of 14 people,who were professional art teachers,and who worked in student affair organizations,obtained by purposive sampling method. The instruments used for data collection were a semi-structured interview forms, and a five-point scale questionnaires. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, Standard Deviation and Exploratory Factor Analysis as well as the content analysis was employed. The research findings were revealed that: (1) the components of student affair management in universities of art in Shenyang under Liaoning province consisted of components: Assist students’ learning and living conditions,Having responsibility and service awareness of students,Strengthen academic and leadership skill for students,Providing counseling services,Improving and quality and comping ability of students,Improving and enhance work requirement,and Providing employment information and resources; and (2) there were 50 guidelines for improving student affair management in universities of art in Shenyang under Liaoning Province.
