The Expectation to Expression of Caring Behavior On Decreasing Elder Abuse in Nursing

Abstract
The purpose of this qualitative research was to study the expression of caring behavior of nursing professional according to the expection of nurses, elderly patients and nursing students. The purposive sampling of this study were 4 registered nurses, 4 elderly patients in ward of Police General Hospital and 7 nursing students in Police Nursing College. Data were collected between June and July 2022. Research instrument compose of guideline for in-depth interview. Data were analyzed using content analysis and categorized.
The finding show that the expression of caring behavior on decreasing elder abuse of nursing profession as expected by nurses, nursing students and elderly patients were in the same direction consisting of 10 behaviors namely respect, honor, understand, willing, concern, attention, prevent danger, responsible, encourage and limited activity and divided into 5 paradigms which were 1) Maintaining Belief 2) Knowing 3) Doing for 4) Being With 5) Enabling
