The Development of An Integrated Affective Instructional Model for Enhancing Democratic Behaviors of First Year Undergraduate Students of Rajamangala University of Technology, Bangkok Metropolis

Abstract

การพัฒนารูปแบบการเรียนการสอนเชิงจิตพิสัยแบบบูรณาการเพื่อเสริมสร้างพฤติกรรมประชาธิปไตยของนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี ชั้นปีที่ 1 มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคล ในเขตกรุงเทพมหานคร

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to develop an integrated affective instructional model for enhancing democratic behaviors of first year undergraduate students of Rajamangala University of Technology Krung Thep.               The sample of this study was divided into two groups. The first group of the democratic behaviors study consisted of 1,284 students randomly selected from Rajamangala University of Technology in Bangkok metropolis. The second group of the study of the effectiveness of the integrated affective instructional model for enhancing democratic behaviors comprised of 50 first year students of Rajamangala University of Technology Krung Thep obtaining the least democratic behavior scores form the testing sacle. They were then randomly assigned into an experimental group and a control group, each group consisted of 25 students. The experimental group participated in the integrated affective instructional model while the control group attended class as usual. The research results were as follows. 1) The integrated affective instructional model for enhancing democratic behaviors was developed by integrating the affective domain concepts and the student-centered concept by value complex.2) The democratic behaviors of the students in the experimental group after participating in the model and after the follow-up were significantly higher than before the experiment at .01 level. The democratic behaviors of the students in the experimental group after participating in the model and after the follow-up were significantly higher than that of the control group at .01 level. Besides, the satisfaction of the students in the experimental group towards the integrated affective instructional model for enhancing democratic behaviors were high. They also revealed intentions to furtherly engage in democratic behaviors.

บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนารูปแบบการเรียนการสอนเชิงจิตพิสัยแบบบูรณาการเพื่อเสริมสร้างพฤติกรรมประชาธิปไตยของนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลในเขตกรุงเทพมหานคร  กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย แบ่งเป็น 2 กลุ่มคือ (1) กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษาพฤติกรรมประชาธิปไตยของนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี ชั้นปีที่ 1 มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลในเขตกรุงเทพมหานคร จำนวน 1,284 คน (2) กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษาประสิทธิผลของรูปแบบการเรียนการสอนเชิงจิตพิสัยแบบบูรณาการเพื่อเสริมสร้างพฤติกรรมประชาธิปไตย เป็นนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี ชั้นปีที่ 1 มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลกรุงเทพ  ที่มีคะแนนพฤติกรรมประชาธิปไตยเรียงลำดับจากนักศึกษาที่มีคะแนนน้อยที่สุดขึ้นมาตามลำดับ จำนวน 50 คน    สุ่มอย่างง่ายเป็นกลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มควบคุม กลุ่มละ 25 คน กลุ่มทดลองได้รับการใช้รูปแบบการเรียนการสอนเชิงจิตพิสัยแบบบูรณาการเพื่อเสริมสร้างพฤติกรรมประชาธิปไตย ส่วนกลุ่มควบคุมได้รับการสอนแบบปกติ ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้ 1) รูปแบบการเรียนการสอนเชิงจิตพิสัยแบบบูรณาการเพื่อเสริมสร้างพฤติกรรมประชาธิปไตยเป็นรูปแบบการเรียนการสอนที่บูรณาการหลักการสอนด้านจิตพิสัย และหลักการสอนที่เน้นผู้เรียนเป็นสำคัญ 2) พฤติกรรมประชาธิปไตยของนักศึกษากลุ่มทดลอง หลังการทดลองและเมื่อสิ้นสุดระยะติดตามผลเพิ่มขึ้นกว่าก่อนการทดลอง อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติระดับ .01 ส่วนพฤติกรรมประชาธิปไตยโดยรวมของนักศึกษากลุ่มทดลอง หลังการทดลองและเมื่อสิ้นสุดระยะติดตามผล เพิ่มขึ้นกว่ากลุ่มควบคุมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 และพบว่า นักศึกษากลุ่มทดลองมีความพึงพอใจต่อรูปแบบการเรียนการสอนดังกล่าวและมีความตั้งใจที่จะแสดงพฤติกรรมประชาธิปไตยต่อไป
