ความฉลาดรู้เฉพาะศาสตร์ : แนวคิดเพื่อยกระดับความฉลาดรู้การอ่านของนักเรียนไทย

ผลการประเมินความฉลาดรู้การอ่านของ PISA 2022 สะท้อนว่า ปัญหาการอ่านของนักเรียนไทยอยู่ในระดับวิกฤต โดยมีนักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้นเพียงร้อยละ 35 ที่อ่านได้ในระดับพื้นฐาน ขณะที่อีกร้อยละ 65 อ่านได้ต่ำกว่าระดับพื้นฐาน ทำให้ต้องอาศัยแนวคิดการสอนที่มีประสิทธิภาพในการยกระดับการอ่านของนักเรียนไทยอย่างเร่งด่วนทั้งในระดับนโยบายและระดับปฏิบัติการ บทความนี้นำเสนอแนวคิดความฉลาดรู้เฉพาะศาสตร์ (disciplinary literacy) เป็นแนวคิดที่มีหลักการสำคัญ คือ การนำกลยุทธ์เฉพาะศาสตร์ที่ผู้เชี่ยวชาญมาใช้ในการทำความเข้าใจบทอ่าน ผู้เขียนเริ่มจากการนำเสนอที่มาและฐานคิดของแนวคิดความฉลาดรู้เฉพาะศาสตร์ อธิบายหลักการและความมุ่งหมายของแนวคิด จากนั้นแสดงแนวทางและตัวอย่างการจัดการเรียนรู้จริงในแต่ละรายวิชา รวมถึงแนวทางการนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการออกแบบหลักสูตรการเรียนการสอน แล้วจึงเสนอแนะแนวทางการเตรียมความพร้อมของครูไทยในการจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดความฉลาดรู้เฉพาะศาสตร์ พร้อมชี้ให้เห็นถึงความเป็นไปได้ของการบูรณาการแนวคิดความฉลาดรู้เฉพาะศาสตร์กับการจัดการเรียนรู้ในรายวิชาต่าง ๆ ในบริบทการศึกษาไทยที่แบ่งเนื้อหาตามกลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ โดยความฉลาดรู้เฉพาะศาสตร์ไม่เพียงช่วยพัฒนาการอ่านของนักเรียนเท่านั้น แต่ยังเอื้อต่อการเรียนรู้อย่างมีความหมายตามธรรมชาติของแต่ละรายวิชาอีกด้วย
