Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submitted manuscript has not been previously published and is not under consideration by another journal.
  • The manuscript complies with all publication ethics requirements.
  • For research involving human or animal subjects, the study must comply with relevant ethical standards and have received approval from the appropriate institutional authority.
  • The manuscript must follow the APA 7th Edition referencing style.
  • The manuscript must not exceed 15 pages, including the abstract and references.
  • All correspondence related to the submission—such as editorial decisions, submission of revised manuscripts, or general inquiries—will be conducted exclusively through the journal’s ThaiJO website.
  • Please review the ThaiJO system user manual and register in the ThaiJO system before your first submission.

Author Guidelines

Manuscript and Supporting Documents Preparation

1. Manuscript File (Word and PDF)

Font and Size

  • Main text: TH SarabunPSK, 16 pt.
  • Tables/Figures and captions: TH SarabunPSK, 14 pt.

Page Setup

  • Standard page margins of 2.54 cm (1 inch) on all sides.
  • Use normal character spacing and line spacing; do not condense or expand text.

Article Format
Prepare the manuscript according to the journal’s prescribed format for:

  • Research Articles
  • Academic Articles

Length

  • 10–15 pages maximum, including the abstract and references.

Abstract

  • Maximum 250 words.

Introduction (must include the following components):

  • Background and significance of the research problem
  • Literature review
  • Identification/synthesis of the research gap
  • Conceptual framework

**The Introduction should be written as a continuous narrative paragraph without separating subheadings.

Objectives

Research Methodology (must clearly present and separate the following sections):

  • Population and sample
  • Research instruments
  • Data collection
  • Data analysis

**Headings must be clearly separated and presented in proper sequence.

Results

  • Must comprehensively address the stated research objectives.

Discussion

  • Present discussion topics with clear headings.
  • Provide supporting rationale and cite relevant theories or previous studies.

Recommendations

  • Implication of the study
  • Recommendation for future research

References

  • Must follow APA 7th Edition referencing style.
  • Include at least five references in Thai and English.
  • In-text citations and the reference list must be complete, accurate, and consistent.
  • All references must be arranged alphabetically according to standard dictionary order.

2. Cover Letter (PDF)

  • Authors must ensure that all required information is completed.
  • Clearly state the number and names of all authors, including key roles such as First Author and Corresponding Author. No changes will be allowed after the review process is completed.
  • For student submissions, the advisor’s signature is required.
  • Electronic signatures are accepted.

3. Plagiarism Screening Report (PDF)

  • Thai-language manuscripts will be checked using the Akarawisut.
  • English-language manuscripts will be checked using Turnitin.
  • The journal reserves the right to assess plagiarism as appropriate and to reject manuscripts that violate publication ethics.

4. English Language Editing Certificate (PDF/JPEG)

  • For Thai-language manuscripts, only the abstract must be checked.
  • For English-language manuscripts, the entire manuscript must be checked.
  • Authors may obtain language editing from a recognized language institute (e.g., a university language center). Authors are responsible for arranging the service independently.

5. Proof of Payment (PDF/JPEG)

  • Journal of Education Studies, Chulalongkorn University (JESCU) – THB 4,000 per article.
    Payment and proof of payment must be submitted only after passing the initial editorial review.
