Abstract

     This research aimed to evaluate indicators and key elements of quality assurance for the Master of Law (LL.M.) program management. The population for this research consisted of five specialists regarding the proper indicators. The sample group was set for testing the structural validity of the indicators, comprised of 364 people who were deans, instructors, and students in the LL.M programs, graduates, and employers of graduates from twenty universities with Master of Law programs. There were two sets of research instruments applied. The first was a questionnaire for testing the coverage and suitability of indicators for education management of the LL.M. programs, and the second was a questionnaire for testing the structural validity of quality in educational management. According to the data analysis, this research drew on instantaneous automated software to analyze the quality of indicators and exploratory factor analysis of indicators.

     The research finding shows that: to create and develop indicators which be able to cover all elements, suitable, and valid; hence, structure by Exploratory Factor Analysis  for assessing education quality of the LL.M. programs. From the nine elements designated, there were 51 indicators as follows: 6 indicators related to LL.M. programs, 5 indicators lay on instructors, 8 indicators for students in the graduate programs, 8 indicators for program administration, 5 indicators for learning curriculum, 5 indicators for resources of the learning curriculum,4 indicators for the budget, 5 indicators for assessment and evaluation and 5 indicators for research.
