This research aimed to analyze the knowledge management component to enhance the competitive capabilities of Thai hairdressers. This study employed qualitative research methodology with an in-depth interview and content analysis of the data collected. Nine stakeholders involved in the development of Thai hairdressers' abilities were selected by the purposive sampling method. The study found that knowledge management to enhance competitiveness for Thai hairdressers consisted of eight categories, namely 1) developing a learning system and resources for international markets; 2) establishing and indicating the learning institution or organization for facilitating learning; 3) promoting knowledge and skills needed for them in international working places; 4) specifying a clear role of the public sector in promoting the capabilities of Thai hairdressers in international markets; 5) determining and developing a clear role of other relevant agencies or specific organizations for promoting Thai hairdressers; 6) indicating and developing clear development guidelines for those working in international markets; 7) developing professional qualification to meet international standards; and 8) developing and supporting the role of the private sector in promoting Thai hairdressers in international markets.
