SCENARIOS OF THE NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF LAO PEOPLE’S DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC IN THE NEXT DECADE ( A. D. 2016 - 2025 )

Abstract

              This research is objective to study about “The human resource development, The Research Promotion Development, The Academic social service , The Protection and Promotion of good Lao nation custom, The Infrastructure and the facilitator and  The International and external cooperation”  By the process of conducting research in 5 phases. Phase 1) to study the documents and related research. Phase 2) interviewed 21 specialists. Phase 3) considered appropriate. And the possibility of a draft. Scenario (DFR Round 1). Phase 4) estimation, feasibility and consistency. Scenario (DFR Round 2). Phase 5) is targeted to portray the future as possible. to write Scenarios of the National University of Lao People’s  Democratic  Republic in the Next Decade (A. D. 2016 - 2025) Tools used in research A semi-structured interview and questionnaire. which is to study the scenarios (Futuristic research) using the technique of EDFR (Ethnographic Delphi Futures Research).

The result is shown as the followings:

Scenario 1 : The quality of The human resource development should be developed such as  gold and objective of curriculums, the curriculums using the curriculums evaluation, the entrance examination taking of students to the University. Scenario 2 : To develop the research promotion such as  research knowledge, the research skill, and  research budgeting. Scenario 3 : To develop social service development as helping social academic service, the social academic service dissemination, the reply  social educational information, the abridging training building center. Scenario 4 : To develop to protect and promote good Lao  custom of the nation such as activities of talent contest, the exchange activities  for local wisdom, the competitive activities of good custom of nation. Scenario 5 : To develop infrastructure and facilities such as official and teachers building estimation. and Scenario 6 : To develop  the International internal and external cooperation such as enhancing the cooperation regulation  principles and roles of external internal cooperation of university office internally, the coordination improved  to be agreeable with situation of the external and internal cooperation.
