The Relationship between Creative Leadership and Volunteer Spirit of Khon Kaen University Student Leaders

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to study creative leadership of the student leaders in Khon Kaen University 2) to study volunteering characteristics of Khon Kaen University’s students and 3) to study the relation between creative leadership and volunteering characteristic of the student leaders in Khon Kaen University. The sample was 169 student leaders in Khon Kaen University, The stratified random sampling in accordance with faculty groups by drawing lots method was utilized. The tool was a 5 point rating scale questionnaire. Data were analyze by using a statistical program, to calculate frequencies percentage, and standard deviation. Then analyze the relationship by using Pearson Product Moment Coefficient. Results of the research were 1) the creative leadership level of student leaders in Khon Kaen University, were rated at a high level. 2) the volunteering characteristics of student leaders in Khon Kaen University, were rated at a high level. 3) The relationship between creative leadership and volunteering characteristics of student leaders in Khon Kaen University, there was positive relationship in a moderate level with statistical significance at .01 level.
