The Cooperative Learning Management to Develop Basic Thai Singing Skill for High School Students at Selaphum Pittayakom School

Abstract

This research consists purposes were 1. to study efficiency of activities organized for learning and developing skills for singing Thai songs at basic level collectively 2. to study differences between learning outcomes of students before and after they have learned and developed Thai song singing skills for at basic level collectively and to study differences between students’ practical skills for singing Thai songs at basic level collectively 3. to study relationships between affective domain behaviors of students before and efficiency of activities organized for learning and developing skills for singing Thai songs at basic level collectively and 4. to study students’ satisfaction with the learning and skill development for singing Thai songs at basic level collectively. The research used Quasi Experimental Research technique of which the research instrument consisted of evaluation and assessment forms and questionnaire The target were 15 students from grade 11 from Thai music club in their second semester of the academic year 2021 at Selaphum Pittayakhom School, Ampur Selaphum in Roi Et province. Once the data were collected from this group, the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics including percentage and standard deviation while hypotheses are tested using correlation and t-test. The research findings showed that: 1) activities for learning and developing skills for singing Thai songs at basic level collectively has an efficiency of 81.11/80.89 which is in accordance with the efficiency criteria of 80/80; (2) the learning outcomes of the students after they participated in Thai song singing activities became higher at the significant level of .05 and students acquired higher Thai song singing skills at basic level after they participated in the learning activities with significant level of .05, 3) The level of affective domain behavior before and learning outcomes and developed their Thai song singing skills at basic level and practiced collectively had positive relationship (r=.852) at the significant level of .05 and 4) Students were satisfied with the way Thai song singing learning and skill development at basic level collectively were organized at high level (x̅= 4.18).
