The Factors Influencing Tax Inspector’s Decision to work under the Revenue Office Region 2

Abstract

This research consists purposes were 1. to study the motivation factors influencing the decision making of tax inspectors. Under the Regional Revenue Office and 2. to study the supporting factors influencing the decision making of tax inspectors. Under the Revenue Office Region 2 is a quantitative research. There is a research tool which is a questionnaire with a sample of 245 people who came from using the Taro Yamane (1973) formula at the error level of .05. he data collected from the questionnaire were analyzed using descriptive statistics  consisting of  percentage, mean,  standard  deviation.  t-test and multiple regression analysis. The results of the research revealed that 1) Motivation factors influencing job decisions of tax inspectors, when considering each aspect, it was found that the factor of return was at a high level. The factor of job security at a high level. The factor of opportunity for advancement at a high level. The incentive factors have a positive impact on the decision to choose the job of the tax inspector. Statistically significant at the 0.05 level and 2) Sustaining Factors Influencing Work Decisions of tax inspector, when considering each side, it was found that the learning and development opportunity factor was at a high level. The corporate reputation factor was at the highest level. The responsibility factor was at the highest level. The supporting factors have a positive impact on the decision to choose a tax inspector's job. Statistically significant at the 0.05 level.
