The Guidelines for Developing the Quality of Public Services for Criminal Case in Office of Provincial Public Prosecution in Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya

Abstract

This research consists purposes were 1. to study the quality level of public services for criminal case in office of provincial public prosecution in Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya and 2. to investigate the guidelines for developing the quality of public services for criminal case in office of provincial public prosecution in Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya. This study was mixed methods research : quantitative and qualitative research. The instruments used for the study were questionnaire and interview form. The sample were 228 police officers and external customers, with stratified random sampling. The target groups were 9 key informants, with purposive sampling. For the data collection, the questionnaire was analyzed by descriptive statistics, including percentage, mean, standard deviation, and LSD test. In terms of the interview form content analysis. The results of the study found that 1) The quality level of public services for criminal case in office of provincial public prosecution in Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya was totally at the highest level. The highest aspect was the reliability, responsiveness, confidence, and caring aspect; meanwhile, the lowest aspect was the empirical service and 2) There were many guidelines for developing the quality of public services for criminal case in office of provincial public prosecution in Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya. The sufficient parking lots should be conveniently provided. It should consult the legal rules and regulations at lunchtime to be rapidly available and comfortable. The officers should distinctly have the service knowledge to satisfy the service needs at most. The flow charts should be performed by the suitable step and process. The information on office of provincial public prosecution in Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya should be appropriately published. The public relation should be distributed by empirical steps for public services on official website.
