The Development of Folk Dance Learning Through Video Media According to Davies' Concept of Practical Skills Secondary 1 Students.

Abstract

This research consists purposes were 1. to study and develop folk dance learning through video media. According to Davies' concept of practical skills powerful according to the specified criteria 80/80 2. to study practical skills for learning folk dances through video media. of Secondary 1 student who learn by learning dance skills According to Davies' concept of practical skills 3. to Compare achievements after school by learning folk dances with video media compared to 80% of the criteria and 4. to study the students' satisfaction towards learning folk dance with video based on Davies' concept of practical skills. is an experimental research. The research tools consisted of (1) a learning management plan (2) an achievement test (3) a practical skills assessment form and (4) a satisfaction questionnaire. There was a sample group in the experiment consisting of 30 Mathayomsuksa 1 students drawn by group random sampling. Then the data collected from the questionnaire was analyzed using descriptive statistics consisting of percentage, mean, standard deviation. and compared by t-test. The results showed that 1) The management of folk dance learning through video based on the concept of practical skills of Davies. Secondary 1 students' efficiency (E1/E2) was 87.34/82.07, which was higher than the specified criteria of 80/80 2) The level of practical skills for learning folk dances with video media of Mathayomsuksa 1 students (x̅= 16.43), representing 82.17% 3) Comparative analysis results of the management of folk dance learning with video based on Davies' concept of practical skills. Secondary 1 students (x̅ = 16.41), representing 82.07%, and 4) the student's satisfaction with learning folk dance with video based on Davies' concept of practical skills. Grade 1 students overall were at the highest level (x̅= 4.52).
