Abstract

The objectives of this research are 1. To study the effects of recreational activity, use on the emotional development of male soccer players of Phuket Rajabhat University and 2. To compare the effects of recreational activities on the development of emotional competence of male soccer players. Emotional Intelligence of Male Football Players, Phuket Rajabhat University. Using the Quasi Experimental Research model, the specific samples were 40 male soccer players from Phuket Rajabhat University using a control group design pretest posttest design tool used to collect data as a measure of emotional intelligence of the Department of Mental Health. The data collected from questionnaires were analyzed using descriptive statistics consisting of percentage, mean, standard deviation. And the results were compared by t-test and F-test. Data collected from the literature, observational notes, were analyzed for content analysis.The research results were found that Male soccer players from Phuket Rajabhat University, the control group after independent participation in recreational activities. The overall level of emotional intelligence was lower than prior to independent recreational activities, which was statistically significant at the .05 level, and found that self-control and self-esteem were higher than before independent recreational activities. As for empathy Responsibility Motivation Decision-making and problem-solving Relationship Life satisfaction and the peace of mind does not rise for male soccer players from Phuket Rajabhat University, the experimental group after participating in recreational activities. Has overall emotional intelligence significantly higher than before participating in recreational activities at the .05 level. When considered individually, it was found that Self-control Responsibility Higher in relationship and self-esteem. For male soccer players from Phuket Rajabhat University, the experimental group after participating in recreational activities.
