THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SELECTION FACTORS AND THE SUCCESS OF EDUCATIONAL POLICY IMPLEMENTATION FOR BASIC EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS PROVIDING EDUCATION TO MIGRANT CHILDREN IN RANONG PROVINCE

Abstract
To study the success of education management policies, it is necessary to examine selected factors associated with the implementation of those policies.To ensure the successful implementation of the policy on providing education to migrant children in Ranong Province, this research aims to examine the relationship between selected factors and the success of policy implementation in basic education institutions serving migrant children in the province. It is quantitative research.The sample group for this research consisted of 265 individuals, comprising school administrators, teachers, and school board members. It was obtained by determining the sample size using the Krejcie and Morgan table. The instrument used for data collection was a 5-point rating scale questionnaire.The statistics used for data analysis included frequency distribution, percentage, mean, and standard deviation; hypothesis testing was conducted using the Pearson correlation coefficient (r).
The research findings revealed a statistically significant, high positive correlation (r = 0.851**, Sig. (2-tailed) < .001) between the selected factors and the successful implementation of educational management policies in basic education schools serving migrant children in Ranong Province. When considering each aspect, it was found that all aspects exhibited a high level of positive correlation, statistically significant at the .01 level (Sig. (2-tailed) < .001). The aspects, ranked by the strength of their correlation, are as follows: the aspect with the highest correlation was factors supporting implementation at the institutional level (r=0.874**), followed by factors regarding the potential of the implementing unit (r=0.860**), while the aspect with the lowest correlation was factors related to policy content (r=0.820**).
