APPLICATION OF GOOD GOVERNANCE IN THE ADMINISTRATION OF DRUG ADDICT REHABILITATION SYSTEM

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: (1) to study the appication of good governance in the administration of drug addict rehabilitation system, (2) to study the problems and obstacles in the appication of good governance in the administration of drug addict rehabilitation system, and (3) to study the guidelines of good governance in the administration of drug addict rehabilitation system. The research model was qualitative. The study was conducted from 20 key informants, namely: administrators, practitioners. Academics, experts, related departments.  The tools used in the study were interview. Data were collected by in-depth interviews. The data were analyzed by descriptive summary.


The research results found that (1) the appication of good governance in the administration of drug addict rehabilitation system consisted of 7aspects, namely: policies, laws and regulations, budgets, materials, personnel, and integration of cooperation., (2) the problems and obstacles in the appication of good governance in the administration of drug addict rehabilitation system were 3 sides, namely: personnel problems, cooperation problems, problems with the structure and working methods of the bureaucracy, and (3) the guidelines of good governance in the administration of drug addict rehabilitation system was a clear policy, develop the operational potential of personnel for operational efficiency, executives conduct themselves within the framework of good governance, streamline work processes for efficiency, the measures and guidelines to prevent corruption, integration of work with various related sectors and to promote public participation in the administration of drug addict rehabilitation system.
