Abstract

      This academic article aims to A study of the role of female political leaders in the Northeast It emphasizes the history of the role of women as political leaders. This includes the performance of roles under the duties assigned by society, traditions and gender unequal societies. They viewed women as vulnerable both physically and mentally, which were more susceptible to stimuli. In the past, women were trained to be caregivers of their families so that they were not aware of anything outside the home. and especially in matters of politics and governance, considering these missions as the duty of men solely especially women in the Northeast who are not educated and are excluded from participating in politics. Today, restrictions on freedom and independence and protection of rights have led to the struggle of women leaders for gender equality. This creates a political space for more people, but the path of women's leadership has never been easy. full of obstacles and social culture Some people, even women, think that women are incompetent and do not deserve to be leaders compared to men. and especially women in the Northeast who are still considered rural areas. But in a global environment that emphasizes higher gender equality, whether public or private They are open and accept leaders regardless of gender. But look at the abilities of the person and give them the opportunity. Equal progress in the work and women in the Northeast, who take more political roles in order to better take part in policy making and solving problems in the Isan region.
