THE PARTICIPATION IN LOCAL POLITICS OF PEOPLE IN WIANG SA SUBDISTRICT, WIANG SA DISTRICT SURAT THANI

Abstract

This article aimed to study study of local political participation of people in wiang sa subdistrict, wiang sa district surat thani province. And study of recommendations and solutions for solving problems of local political participation of people in wiang sa sub-district, wiang sa district surat thani province. This research is a quantitative research. The sample group was used in the research of 308 collected research data with questionnaires. and the statistics used to analyze the data were frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation.

The results showed that : 1) The participation in local politics of people in wiang sa subdistrict, wiang sa district surat Thani Province, including all 3 aspects, were at a moderate level. When considering each aspect, the averages were sorted from least to greatest as follows: (1) participation in listening to political news existing at a high level (2) In terms of participation in elections It was at a moderate level and (3) In the aspect of expressing opinions. There were at a moderate level, respectively. 2) The problems and obstacles in local political participation found that people and communities were neglected by politicians and government agencies in the process of political participation, people lack truthful information about political conflicts. acknowledgment of information, and the people must have to clear political conflicts The solution to the problem of people's participation in local politics found that community leaders should give people the opportunity to participate in expressing their opinions in all matters, people should have discretion in receiving the media and following the news thoroughly, should use the Talk to each other in a friendly way. listen more to each other's opinions. and the state or government agency should communicate with the public with factual information and must strictly and honestly comply with the law.
