PARTICIPATION OF PEOPLE IN THE IMPLEMENTATION PROCESS OF THONGPHAPHUM MUNICIPALITY THONGPHAPHUM DISTRICT KANCHANABURI PROVINCE

Abstract

This research aimed 1. to study the level of people's participation in the operation of Thong Pha Phum Municipality, Thong Pha Phum District, Kanchanaburi Province 2. to compare the participation of the people in the operation of the Thong Pha Phum Municipality,Thong Pha Phum District, Kanchanaburi classified according to different personal factors. the sample was 343 People in Thong Pha Phum Municipality, Thong Pha Phum District, Kanchanaburi Province. The data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed by the G*Power program. Statistics employed this research were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-Way ANOVA. The level of significance for statistical testing was .05.  The research results were found as follows that People within the municipality of Thong Pha Phum Subdistrict The overall level of participation was at a moderate level. with the level of participation The aspect of participation in receiving the most benefits followed by participation in operations Participation in decision making and the least participant in the evaluation, respectively. The hypothesis testing results revealed that the sample people with different gender, age, education level and occupation participated in the operation of the Thong Pha Phum Subdistrict Municipality differently. It was statistically significant at the .05 level, which was in line with the hypothesis.
