OPINIONS OF THE ELDERLY TOWARDS THE IMPLEMENTATION OF BAN KLANG SUBDISTRICT ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATION TO THE ELDERLY PENSION POLICY: CASE STUDY OF BAN LAO NUEA, MOO 4, BAN KLANG SUBDISTRICT, SONG DISTRICT, PHRAE PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) To study the opinion level of the elderly towards Ban Klang subdistrict administrative organization for implementing the elderly pension policy and 2) To compare personal factors affecting the opinion of the elderly towards Ban Klang Subdistrict Administrative Organization in implementing the elderly pension policy. This research is a quantitative research. The population were elderly persons in Ban Lao Nuea, Moo 4, Ban Klang subdistrict, Song district, Phrae province. at the total number of 98 persons. The research instrument used to collect data was a questionnaire. The test statistic used to analyze the collected data include Weight Mean Score, standard deviation, t-test and F-test. The research results revealed that objective 1) The opinion level of the elderly towards Ban Klang subdistrict administrative organization for implementing the elderly pension policy. The overall level was found at a high level with a total weight mean score of 2.79. In terms of objective 2) The comparisons of personal affecting the opinion of the elderly towards Ban Klang subdistrict administrative organization in implementing the elderly pension policy, it was show that elderly people with different age, education, occupation, income, and period of pension received, there were different opinions towards the Ban Klang subdistrict administrative organization for implementing the elderly pension policy. Statistically significant at the 0.05 level.
