Abstract
This academic article aimed to present the concept of the legal casinos in Thailand. The government through the Cabinet had approved it and prepared to propose it as the law through the parliament. Some groups agreed with it and gave the reason that it would bring in money to develop the country to be prosperous. However, many people disagreed and had come out to protest. They stated that the disadvantages were the problems of corruption, law enforcement, money laundering, health, crime, drug, moral deterioration, and education. The worst thing was the problems the occurred to Thai youth in the family institution, which would eventually spread to become the problem for the society and country. Therefore, it was the time for the society to use its wisdom to consider the advantage and disadvantage by obviously comparing what was gained and what was lost. Otherwise, it would fall into the adage that the gain was not worth the loss.
