The pattern of development leadership for administrators At lower northern secondary schools

Abstract

This research had 3 main purposes  1) to study the current stage for developing leadership for administrators at lower northern  secondary schools. 2) to create the pattern for developing leadership according to Buddhism at lower northern secondary schools. 3) and to evaluate  the pattern for developing leadership for administrators according to Buddhism at lower northern secondary schools are Descriptive research .


The research procedure followed 3 steps: 1) study the current stage for developing leadership for administrators at lower northern secondary schools by interviewing 18 people . Data were analyzed through content analysis. 2) create the pattern for developing leadership according to Buddhism at lower northern  secondary schools by group discussion for 9 people. The instruments were focus group discussion and content analysis. 3) and evaluate the pattern for developing leadership for administrators according to Buddhism at lower northern  secondary schools by interviewing 30 school administrators at lower northern  secondary schools in 5 provinces. The instruments were questionnaires that had 4 aspects: accuracy, suitability, possibility and benefit. The data were statistically analyzed by mean and standard deviation.


Research finding showed that:


1) The current stage for developing leadership for administrators at lower northern  secondary schools is found that administrators are require 4 enhancing leadership in management :The academic management consists of curriculum management ,learning process,  measurement and evaluation. The budget management is focused on the independence of management, flexibility, transparency and cost- effectiveness. The personnel management is essential for enhancing efficiency under law and regulation and staff morale. The affairs management consists of setting and planning the other works towards the goal. 


2) The pattern for developing leadership according to Buddhism at lower northern  secondary schools is consisted of 3 things. 1. Introduction consists of 1) background and the  importance of leadership. 2) The objective 2. The Content consists of  1) the 4 managements Academic management ,Budget management Personnel management and Affairs management 2. Sappurisa Dhamma 7 3. The conditions to success for administrators to apply and to choose the principles of management for self-development.


3) The evaluation of pattern for developing leadership for administrators according to Buddhism at lower northern secondary schools in 4 aspects were at a highest level.
