Buddhist Approach for Netword Management System Development of Local Community Enterprises

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the context and state of the management of local community enterprises, 2) to study the Buddhist approach for the network management system development of the local community enterprises, and 3) to integrate the Buddhist approach for the network management system development of the local community enterprises. This research applied the Qualitative Researchwiththe in-depth interview and focus group discussion. The sample was 22 people consisting of 4 government officers, 4 leaders and 14 people in the area.

                    Results of the Research

1. The context and state of the management of local community enterprise: artificial flowers and souvenir of Wassana community enterprise and sugar-boiled banana puree with fresh coconut milk of Mae Lumjuancommunity enterprise was similar. Their networks were relatives. However, sugar-boiled banana puree with fresh coconut milk of Mae Lumjuan community enterprise was the Agriproduct processing such as banana. The artificial flowers and souvenir of Wassana community enterprise was the handicraft in producing the artificial flowers, especially funeral wood flower. The management of both community enterprises was not quite systematic. The network management was similar such as the management, marketing, raw materials, government sectors and technology learning. Especially, both community enterprises had the wide marketing network.


2. The Buddhist approach for the network management system development of the local community enterprises with the application of the Sappurisa-dhamma (virtues of a gentleman) and the Gharavasa-dhamma (virtues for a good household life) found both community enterprises’ management systemwas more efficient with the Dhamma principles as the Buddhist approach integrating the management, production, marketing, finance, and other activities. These effected the network management system development of the local community enterprises in law materials, production, marketing, technology learning and government sectors having the network connection by the application of the Buddhist approach. Therefore, both community enterprises had the sustainable strength.


3. The integration of the Buddhist approach for the network management system development of the local community enterprisesfound that the Dhamma principle was important to integrate the Buddhist approach for the network management system development of both local community enterprises. Both local community enterprises gave the importance to the integration of the Buddhist approachfor the management of the community enterprises. The Sappurisa-dhamma (virtues of a gentleman) was applied in the personal management: the people in the local communities and the local resources for the network management of the community enterprises. The management, production, marketing, and finance should integrate the Dhamma priniciple for the connection as the network management system development of the community enterprises and affect the law material network, production network, marketing network, technology learning network and government sectors network. The Gharavasa-dhamma was integrated for the cooperation in the work, the honesty, the trust, and the serious working. The good management was the sustainable network management system developmentof the community enterprises. However, both local community enterprises had the management with the competition by seeking to the profit for the members of the group or the organizations. Therefore, the community enterprises should integrate the Dhamma priniciples as the Buddhist approach to be the guidelines for the network management system development of the local community enterprises in the sustainable and strong management.
