Academic Leadership of the School Administrators under the Supervision of Saraburi Secondary Educational Service Area Office 4

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the academic leadership of the school administrators under the supervision of Saraburi Secondary Educational Service Area Office 4, and 2) to compare the academic leadership of Saraburi Secondary Educational Service Area Office 4 classified by school size.


The samples used in this study were 300 teachers under the supervision of Saraburi Secondary Educational Service Area Office 4. The research instrument was questionnaire. The statistics used to analyze data were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and one-way ANOVA.


The research results showed that 1) the level of the school administrators under the supervision of Saraburi Secondary Educational Service Area Office 4 was at the high level as a whole aspect and each aspect. When considering each aspect, it was found that the communication on school goals was at the highest average level. The supervision and teaching evaluation was at the high average respectively. The promotion of learning conditions had the lowest average level. 2) The result of the comparison of academic leadership level of school administrators of Saraburi Secondary Educational Service Area Office 4 classified by school size was significantly different at the .05 level. However, the aspects of the school target and the control of teaching time were not significantly different at the level .05 level.
