Abstract

The Buddhist art is considered to be born from the faith of Buddhists who aim to create symbols that symbolize their principles and beliefs on Buddhism. Buddhist art, of the Pago and Wiang Khook city is a Buddhist art that originated from Buddhism because Buddhism has spread into the town of Pago and Wiang, Khook, from Dvaravati, Sukhothai, Ayutthaya, Lanna and Lan Chang It is Resulted in the creation of Buddhist arts, both Buddha images and pagodas or relics By creating the Buddhist art of the city of Pago and Wiang Khook is considered to be created from local wisdom. And focus on creation to convey meaning to Buddhist teachings such as the doctrine of prestige 10, nirvana, about Anusati, 10 stories, trinity, etc., in order to be used as a medium for education or teaching Dhamma to Buddhists in general. In addition, the creation of the Buddhist arts in Pago Wiang Khook is still considered to be valuable in the sense of being one of Thai art because it is connected to many fine arts of the period.
