Abstract

The purposes of this study were to 1) to study the level of factors relating to academic administration and the effectiveness of academic administration in schools in NakhonSawan province under the jurisdiction of the Secondary Education Service Area Office 42. 2) to study the level of administrators’ and teachers’ opinions on the effectiveness of academic administration in schools in NakhonSawan province under the jurisdiction of the Secondary Education Service Area Office 42. 3) to study the relationship of academic administration affecting the effectiveness of academic administration in schools in NakhonSawan province under the jurisdiction of the Secondary Education Service Area Office 42 and 4) to create an equation to forecast the factors relating to academic administration and the effectiveness of the academic administration in schools in NakhonSawan province under the jurisdiction of the Secondary Education Service Area Office 42.The results of the study were as follows:1) The factors relating to academic administration in schools were at a high level, the effectiveness of academic administration in schools was at a high level.2) The comparison of the level of administrators’ and teachers’ opinions on effectiveness of academic administration in schools, both in overall, was significantly different at the statistical level of .05 3) The relationship of factors relating to academic administration affecting the effectiveness of academic administration in schools had a positive correlation with a statistically significant at .05 level.4) The variables necessary for forecasting the effectiveness of academic administration were consisted of school teachers, budgeting administration, educational media and technology, parents and communities and administrators respectively. The value of Cronbach’s Alpha was 43.10 per cent at the .05 level of significance. The equation of forecasting by raw score and standard score could be formed as follows:

                        The forecasting equation by standard score:


 = 0.173(X1) + 0.172(X4) + 0.245(X5) + 0.210(X2) + 0.128(X3)
