บทคัดย่อ

หลักธรรมเรื่องความเปลี่ยนแปลงของทุกสิ่งหรือความไม่เที่ยง เป็นหนึ่งในแก่นของหลักธรรมในพุทธศาสนา แต่สาระในเรื่องความไม่เที่ยงนี้ได้สะท้อนมาสู่รูปแบบของพุทธสถาปัตยกรรมที่เกิดขึ้นอย่างไรบ้าง บทความนี้เป็นการมุ่งค้นหาประเด็นเรื่องความไม่เที่ยงที่ซ่อนตัวอยู่ในสถาปัตยกรรมวิหารวัดต้นเกว๋น จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ ผ่านการใช้ตัวของผู้ศึกษาเองเป็นผู้เฝ้าคอย สังเกต วิเคราะห์และตีความปรากฏการณ์ความไม่เที่ยงต่างๆ ที่เกิดขึ้นในหลายช่วงเวลา โดยใช้เครื่องมือในการศึกษา ทั้งการสเก็ตช์ ถ่ายภาพ และทดลองด้วยหุ่นจำลองคอมพิวเตอร์

Buddhist notion of perpetually changing of things or “the Impermanence” is one of the core values of Buddhism. But it is questioned how the idea of “impermanence” reflects into Buddhist architecture. The objective of this article is to search for the idea of “impermanence” that has been hidden in the Buddhist architecture of the Vihara of Ton Kwen Temple, Chiang Mai. This study is done by the use of subjective investigation of the author who observes, analyzes, and interprets the Impermanence phenomenon which took place in different period of time. The tools of this study are sketching, photographing and testing with 3D model simulation.
