About the Journal

Focus and Scope

JED: Journal of Environmental Design is produced to disseminate the new and current state of knowledge in relation to research and design of architecture and environment. The journal first launched in 2014 and idexed in TCI tier 2 in 2017 with Impact factor 2015-2017 = 0.095  https://www.kmutt.ac.th/jif/Impact/impact_h.php

The journal accepts research papers, academic papers, review papers, translated papers and thesis-based papers in architecture and related fields written in either Thai or English language. The themes include:

+ Histories, concepts and theories in architecture
+ Art, architecture and Thai architecture
+ Vernacular architecture and cultural environment
+ Architectural conservation
+ Architectural design
+ Urban design, urban planning and landscape architecture
+ Interior design
+ Technology, innovation and architectural management

Peer Review Process

Papers should be reviewed by at least two expert reviewers in related areas in double-blinded review process. In case the paper is declined by one reviewer, the third reviewer may be reviewed. Accepted papers for publication must be accepted by at least two reviewers. 

Publication Frequency

Publish twice a year in June and December.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
