การบูรณะอาคารมีคุณค่าทางประวัติศาสตร์และศิลปวัฒนธรรม (The Restoration of Valuable Historical and Cultural Buildings)

Abstract

วัดวาอารามหรือศาสนสถานและสถานที่ทำการหน่วยงานของรัฐฯ ในประเทศไทย ส่วนมากพบว่าเป็นอาคารที่มีคุณค่าทางประวัติศาสตร์และศิลปวัฒนธรรม ซึ่งอาคารเหล่านี้เสื่อมโทรมไปตามกาลเวลา ในขณะเดียวกันก็มีจำนวนผู้ใช้อาคารและความต้องการพื้นที่ใช้สอยที่เพิ่มขึ้น ทำให้เกิดการรื้อและสร้างขึ้นใหม่โดยไม่ได้คำนึงถึงคุณค่าทางสถาปัตยกรรม ผู้เขียนซึ่งมีประสบการณ์ในการบูรณะพระบรมธาตุมหาเจดีย์ กุฏิพระสงฆ์รวมถึงอาคารที่ใช้ประกอบศาสนกิจ และพบเห็นปัญหาต่างๆ ทั้งจากพระสงฆ์ที่มีความต้องการในการพัฒนาวัดและผู้รับเหมาก่อสร้างที่ใช้วัสดุและการก่อสร้างที่ผิดวิธี ทำให้อาคารเหล่านั้นหมดคุณค่าไป บทความนี้มุ่งชี้ให้เห็นถึงแนวทางในการบูรณะอาคาร โดยใช้เทคโนโลยีการก่อสร้างสมัยใหม่ที่เหมาะสม วัสดุก่อสร้างที่แข็งแรงทนทานง่ายต่อการดูแลรักษา เพื่อทดแทนวัสดุก่อสร้างแบบดั้งเดิม การออกแบบแสงสว่างเพื่อเพิ่มมิติและความรู้สึกที่สัมผัสได้จากการมองเห็น ช่วยยืดอายุการใช้งานให้นานขึ้น งบประมาณที่ประหยัดรวมถึงการให้ความรู้ ความสำคัญในการบูรณะที่ถูกต้องตามหลักวิชาการ กฎหมาย และศึกษาแนวคิดการบูรณะจากต่างประเทศ เพื่อให้คงคุณค่าทางสถาปัตยกรรมนั้นให้อยู่คู่ไปและเป็นแหล่งเรียนรู้กับเยาวชนต่อไป

Valuable historical and cultural buildings in Thailand are mostly religious buildings and federal offices. The decays of the buildings, the rising numbers of users and the needs of area requirement cause buildings destruction or being torn down without the right    knowledge. With the experiences in renovating The Great Pagoda, residential cubicles and many utilities in the temple area, many problems can be perceived. These problems ranging from the need to develop the temple complexes, constructor’s misuse materials and the incorrect construction have reduced the value of the buildings. This article intends to enlighten the way to renovate buildings by using the right modern construction technology, durable and easily maintenance materials and appropriate lighting design. This would expand lifetime of the building and also reduce budgets. Moreover, this study intends to acknowledge the importance of reservation academically and legally to prolong architectural value and provide learning sources for next generations.
