The purposes of this research were to study media exposure toward environmental problems and examine the correlation among media exposure, awareness and perceived credibility among Bangkok metropolis residents. Questionnaires were used to collect the data from a total of 400 samples. Frequency, Percentage, Mean, t-test, One-way ANOVA and Pearsonûs Product Moment Correlation Coefficient were employed for the data analysis. SPSS for windows application was selected for data processing.

The research results are as followings :

1. Most people are exposed to the problem of environment on mass media, specialized media, interpersonal communication channel at low level, and even lower on the internet. However, their awareness and credibility are at high level.

2. Residents different in sex, age, education, occupation and income are exposed to mass media, specialized media, internet and interpersonal communication channel are different in some parts.

3. The exposure to environmental problems on mass media, specialized media and interpersonal communication channel are positively correlated with their awareness regarding environmental problems and the importance of non-government environmental organizations. Whereas, the exposure on the internet is not correlated.

4. The exposure to environmental problems on mass media, specialized media, internet and interpersonal communication channel is positively correlated with their credibility regarding content of the environmental problems and the importance of non-government environmental organizations.
