การศึกษาลักษณะและรูปแบบการทําปราสาทผึ้ง เทศกาลออกพรรษา อําเภอเชียงคาน จังหวัดเลย A Study of Characteristics and Pattern Forms of Paraffi n Castles on out of the Buddhist Lent Festival at Chiangkhan District Loei Province

Abstract

อําเภอเชียงคาน เปนชุมชนที่มีศิลปะและวัฒนธรรมที่ควรศึกษา การวิจัย ในครั้งนี้เปนการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพโดยมีวัตถุประสงค 1) เพื่อศึกษาลักษณะและ รูปแบบการทําปราสาทผึ้งของอําเภอเชียงคาน จังหวัดเลย 2) เพื่อศึกษาปจจัยที่มี ผลกระทบในการทําปราสาทผึ้ง 3) เพื่อการอนุรักษและสงเสริมการทําปราสาทผึ้ง เปนการศึกษาขอมูลจากเอกสาร การลงพื้นที่เพื่อสังเกต และสัมภาษณจากกลุมผูรู กลุมผูปฏิบัติ และกลุมผูเกี่ยวของ ตามลําดับ ผลการวิจัยพบวา 1) ลักษณะและรูปแบบการทําปราสาทผึ้งทําในลักษณะ ทรงเรือนยอด หรือทรงบุษบก โครงสรางทําจากไม ประกอบดวย สวนฐาน สวนบัลลังก และสวนหลังคา มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงโครงสรางทุกปเพื่อไมใหซํ้าแบบเดิม การทําแมพิมพเดิมทําจากแมพิมพธรรมชาติ ปจจุบันใชปูนพลาสเตอรทําแมพิมพ เพื่อหลอขี้ผึ้งใหเปนลวดลายตางๆ แลวนํามาตกแตงปราสาทผึ้งตามความเหมาะสม ของลวดลายและบริเวณพื้นที่ตกแตง มีการตกแตงรถขบวนแหปราสาทผึ้งดวยผา และดอกไมสด 2) ปจจัยที่มีผลกระทบในการทําปราสาทผึ้ง ประกอบดวย หนวยงาน ที่สนับสนุนทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชน วัดและกรรมการวัด ชางทําปราสาทผึ้ง และการมี สวนรวมของชุมชน ซึ่งทั้งหมดไดใหความรวมมือดวยดี เปนเทศกาลที่ชาวอําเภอ เชียงคานเขารวมกิจกรรมมากที่สุด ถึงแมงบประมาณในการดําเนินการมีจํานวนไม มาก แตก็สามารถจัดงานไดอยางยิ่งใหญ 3) การอนุรักษและสงเสริมการทําปราสาท ผึ้ง เมืองเชียงคานเปนเมืองเกาแก มีแหลงโบราณสถานและวัฒนธรรมที่มีเอกลักษณ เฉพาะถิ่น ประเพณีเทศกาลออกพรรษา ถือเปนงานบุญประเพณีที่เกาแกสืบทอดกัน มาเปนระยะเวลาที่ยาวนาน เปนกิจกรรมที่แสดงถึงความรวมมือและความสามัคคี ของทุกหนวยงานที่เกี่ยวของทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชนตลอดจนคุมวัดตางๆ การรักษา วัฒนธรรมและสงเสริมประเพณีเทศกาลออกพรรษา จึงเปนการสงเสริมใหเมือง เชียงคานเปนแหลงทองเที่ยวทางดานวัฒนธรรม การอยูรวมกันอยางมีความสุขบน พื้นฐานทางดานวัฒนธรรม ยอมสงผลประโยชนโดยรวมตอเมืองเชียงคานทั้งดาน สังคมและเศรษฐกิจ ในยุคของสังคมที่มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงอยูตลอดเวลา

Chiang Khan District is a community rich of arts and culture ought to be studied and learned from. This study aims to fi nd the characteristics and pattern forms of paraffi n castles on Out of the Buddha Lent festival, the impact factors on the making process, and the preservation and promotion of their making process. This study was conducted based on data collected from documents, fi eld study trips and observations, and group discussions with the key informants, casual informants and general informants.  The results reveal that 1) the characteristics and pattern forms of paraffi n castles: The castles were made from woods in the crown form style, including the platform, throne and roof. Its structure changes every year as to avoid repeating the old styles. Originally the castle model was made from natural materials, but now it is made from plaster. The model is used to cast the paraffi n into various pattern forms as to decorate the castles following its design. While carrying the castles, the truck would be decorated with colorful cloths and fl owers; 2) the impact factors on the paraffi n castle making process: the factors that impact the making process comprise of state and non - state organization that support the festival, temple and artisan committees on making the castles, and community participatory. During the festival, people in Chiang Khan District would be attending the most even though there was a low budget allocated for operating the festival. However, the festival was managed to happen gracefully; and 3) thepreservation and promotion of paraffi n castles: Chiang Khan is an old city with unique ancient remains and culture. The festival of Out of Buddha Lent is considered as a traditional festival that has been inherited for a long time. It is the activity that represents the cooperation and concord of all related state and non-state organizations, as well as the community temples. The cultural preservation and traditional promotion of this festival thus is a way to promote Chiang Khan City as a cultural tourist attraction. How people living together happily on the same cultural base results in the overall benefi ts to the city, both socially and economically, amidst the world trend of changing.
