กระบวนการเรียบเรียงเพลงไทยสำหรับวงโยธวาทิตของพันโทวิชิต โห้ไทย (ศิลปินแห่งชาติ)

Abstract

วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้ใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา กระบวนการเรียบเรียงเพลงไทยสำหรับวงโยธวาทิตของพันโทวิชิต โห้ไทย (ศิลปิน แห่งชาติ) โดยศึกษาข้อมูลจากการสัมภาษณ์ และการวิเคราะห์บทเพลงไทยเดิมที่ พันโทวิชิต โห้ไทย เป็นผู้เรียบเรียงสำหรับวงโยธวาทิต

พันโทวิชิต โห้ไทย เป็นศิลปินดนตรีที่มีทักษะความรู้ และความเชี่ยวชาญทาง ด้านดนตรีตะวันตก และดนตรีไทย ทั้งนี้เนื่องจากท่านมีความสนใจทางด้านดนตรีเป็นอย่างสูง โดยเริ่มแรกได้เข้ามาศึกษาวิชาดนตรีตะวันตกที่โรงเรียนดุริยางค์ทหารบก โดยศึกษาทั้งด้านวิชาทฤษฎี และปฏิบัติดนตรีกับครูทหาร และปฎิบัติหน้าที่ ที่เกี่ยวกับวงโยธวาทิตมาโดยตลอด ต่อมาได้ศึกษาวิชาดนตรีไทยกับครูดนตรีไทย ที่มีชื่อเสียงอยู่หลายท่าน ส่งผลให้พันโทวิชิต โห้ไทย ได้มีความรู้ความเข้าใจกับ วัฒนธรรมดนตรีทั้ง 2 วัฒนธรรม คือ วัฒนธรรมดนตรีไทย และวัฒนธรรมดนตรี ตะวันตกได้เป็นอย่างดี จนเกิดการสร้างสรรค์ผลงาน และเผยแพร่งานทางดนตรีไทย ที่บรรเลงด้วยเครื่องดนตรีแบบตะวันตกในรูปแบบวงโยธวาทิต

ในการเรียบเรียงเพลงไทยสำหรับวงโยธวาทิตของพันโทวิชิต โห้ไทย มีกระบวนการต่างๆเข้ามาเกี่ยวข้อง ตั้งแต่กระบวนการคัดสรรบทเพลงเพื่อนำมา ใช้ในการเรียบเรียงในโอกาสต่างๆ ตามความเหมาะสม กระบวนการจัดกลุ่มเครื่อง ดนตรีตะวันตกแทนเครื่องดนตรีไทยให้อยู่ในช่วงเสียงที่มีความเหมาะสมเพื่อให้เกิด ความสมดุลของเสียง และกระบวนการเรียบเรียงบทเพลง ซึ่งเป็นกระบวนการสุดท้าย ในกระบวนการเรียบเรียงนี้เป็นสิ่งหนึ่งที่แสดงให้เห็นถึงลักษณะ รูปแบบของการ เรียบเรียงที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ 4 ด้าน คือ 1. ด้านทำนอง 2. ด้านจังหวะ 3. ด้านเสียง ประสาน และ 4. ด้านประโยคเพลง โดยยังคงยึดหลักการ และสำเนียงพื้นฐานของ เพลงไทยมาใช้เป็นโครงสร้างหลัก

LT.COL. WICHIT HO-THAI (NATIONAL ARTIST) ’S SCORING PROCESS FOR WIND BAND ’S THAI TRADITIONAL MUSIC

This thesis aimed to study Lt.Col. Wichit Ho-thai (National Artist)’s scoring process for wind band’s Thai traditional music. This research was a study with data collected from interviewing and analysis.

The research result revealed that Lt.Col. Wichit Ho-thai is a skillful artist who was an expert in both western and Thai music due to his attentive interest in music. Initially, he studied western music at the Royal Thai Army School of Music. He attended both theory and practical parts with the military instructors and performed his duties in the fi eld of wind band at the same time. After that, he began studying Thai traditional music attentively with a lot of famous Thai traditional music instructors. That was why Lt.Col. Wichit Ho-thai achieved both cultural skills so comprehensively that he could score and establish a lot of wind-band-styled works played with western music instruments.

There were various methods involved in Lt.Col. Wichit Ho-thai’s scoring process for wind band’s Thai traditional music. Firstly, the songs were selected to be arranged for certain occasions dependent on appropriateness. Western music instruments would be located instead of Thai music instruments in the suitable, balance sound range. The last process was scoring the songs. In this scoring process what showed was his unique scoring order in Melody Rhythmic pattern Harmony and Phrase. However, the principles and basic accent in Thai traditional music was still used as the main structure in such western styled scoring.
