Harmonics Playing Techniques in Up From Down Under Song of Tommy Emmanuel

Abstract
This article aimed to: present the biography and achievements of Tommy Emmanuel, the finger-style guitarist who honorably obtained the Certified Guitar Player Award from Chet Atkins as well as many other awards; explain about the harmonic guitar playing patterns, including natural and artificial harmonics which are widely known for the melodious sounds like harps and bells; and analyze such technique in the song, Up from Down Under from the Up from Down Under album, of Tommy Emmanuel that so perfectly incorporates the harmonic patterns that he once described that his playing sound was like water drops falling.
