Abstract
This article be the part of Thesis in Doctor of Philosophy program in Thai Theater Dance for the title Indra God in Thai Drama, had objective to study the role play performance of Indra God in Thai Drama by aim to study of factors effecting to role assignment of Indra God in Thai Drama. Research methodology be studying from books, textbooks, thesis, articles, important literatures and Thai Drama scripts of Fine Arts Department, real watched participating and interviewing. The finding found that the role plays of Indra God be obvious occurring in Thai Drama as the important appearance in Khon and Drama, in Khon Indra God appeared in the role play as secondary Deities God who got the command from Isuan God to perform the missions, the role play of giver in helping and supporting the things to performers and the role play as the President of any ceremonies of performers by the highlight role play of Indra God in Thai Drama would be the great supporter to all sufferers’ performers. For the factors which impact to the specific role play of Indra God in Thai Drama, there were 2 factors as 1) Factor in religion 2) Factor in Literatures. The significant of Indra God in Thai Drama of the belief science be the waving flag for toward off mischief in Chatree drama performance and still taking Indra God of Khon Head to join in Wai Khru Khon and Drama ceremony of some Khon School by the significant and popularity performance of Indra God performer be Khon performance in episode of Prommas War, Sungthong Drama in episode of Tee-Klee and Sungsilapachai Drama in episode of Tok-Hell.
