With its profound historical culture and abundant natural resources, handmade paper from Deng Village has gradually developed distinct regional papermaking characteristics and deep aesthetic qualities. This study, through literature review and field investigation, explores the cultural and geographical environment of Deng Village in Sihui City, Guangdong Province, as well as the historical development of local bamboo papermaking techniques. It focuses on analyzing the aesthetic characteristics of this craft under the framework of Oriental ecological philosophy, incorporating key insights from interviews with papermaking experts and intangible cultural heritage scholars. The research concludes that the aesthetics of "Huizhi" represent a material manifestation of Oriental ecological philosophy. Looking ahead, the study proposes measures such as protecting its ecological and cultural space, deepening innovation in aesthetic significance, and promoting ecological philosophy education. These efforts aim to transform "Huizhi" from a heritage into a sustainable resource, thereby enriching Chinese paper culture and enhancing local cultural soft power and national cultural confidence.
