Abstract
Due to the outbreak of the new coronavirus in 2019 and its widespread spread in various countries around the world, a large number of people were infected and even died. The Thai Ministry of Public Health regards COVID-19 as a dangerous infectious disease and has promulgated measures to prevent and reduce the spread of the disease. Yue Suotong School is also one of the schools affected by the epidemic. Taking into account the health and safety of all teachers and students, and responding to the government's call to comply with local epidemic prevention policies, Yue Suotong School will be held from May 16, 2020 to July 1, 2020. During the date, all learners must learn online through various tools or video conference programs at home, such as Zoom, Skype, Google, Hangouts and other tools for online learning. Because it is the first time that Yue Suotong School has launched online teaching, some problems will inevitably arise when conducting Chinese teaching online. Therefore, this article will research and investigate the situation of Chinese online teaching in Yue Suotong school, through a comprehensive understanding and true reflection of the teaching elements of the school, and analyze the students’ situation, the advantages and disadvantages of online learning, the classroom situation and the students’ attitudes one by one. Teachers’ opinions on online teaching, students’ feedback on class software, etc., finally put forward rectification suggestions to optimize teaching.
