A study on the application of the BOPPPS teaching model in cultural teaching of Chinese language teaching in Thailand

Under the efforts of Chinese and Thai scholars, The research on teaching Chinese language skills in Thailand been gradually improved, Many excellent achievements have been made in classroom design, practice, and evaluation of language skills teaching. However, the improvement of Thai students' Chinese communicative competence is still not satisfactory. The reason is that cultural teaching in the Chinese language teaching of Thailand is still insufficient, the cultural teaching needs to be studied. This paper studies the principles of cultural teaching in Chinese language teaching in Thailand,and discusses the operation of applying the BOPPPS teaching model to Chinese cultural teaching in Thailand from six aspects of Objective, Pre-Assessment, Participatory Learning, Post-Assessment, and Summary. In the hope that the teaching model will provide new ideas and teaching methods for cultural teaching.
