WEN YIDUO’S CULTURAL EXPERIENCES WHILE STUDYING ABROAD IN USA

Abstract

        From 1922 to 1925, Wen Yiduo’s experiences of American materialism and racism resulted in his deeper disgust at American cultures and his reinforced identification with Chinese cultures. These cultural experiences not only left a profound mark on his writings during studying abroad, but also made a far-reaching influence on his later works and his whole life.
