A STUDY OF CHINESE LANGUAGE SERVICES IN NONGNOOCH GARDEN

Abstract

Thailand is a tropical country with many tourist attractions. Pattaya, Chonburi, is a seaside resort in Thailand. There are not only delicious food and scenery, but also many unique local scenic attractions. Nongnooch Garden is one of important tourist attraction in Chonburi, for Chinese tourists, prefer to choose this province to visit. Nongnooch Garden in Chonburi receives many Chinese tourists every year. The garden provides Chinese service for Chinese tourists, which facilitates Chinese tourists to stay in the garden.

        This research is to analyzed with using Chinese language at Nongnooch Garden, and to study the satisfaction of Chinese tourists surveyed to tourist service facilities of Nongnooch Garden through questionnaires.The thesis is divided into four chapters.  The first chapter summarizes the development and management. The second chapter investigates and analyzes the Chinese service, including the basic situation of service personnel. The third chapter investigates and analyzes satisfaction of Chinese tourists to Chinese service and other tourist service facilities. The fourth chapter analyzing about mistakes for tourism service.In addition,the finding ways for solved problem  about service development have more efficiently.this research has showed five language services in Nongnooch Garden are Thai, English, Korean, Russian and Chinese. In general, the Chinese service of Nongnooch Garden is good, but the Chinese level of Chinese service personnel is not high, and the ability of oral Chinese communication is poor.  In order to improve the service quality and attract more Chinese tourists, Nongnooch Garden needs to improve Chinese service and improve the Chinese level of service personnel.
