Abstract

          Geo-cultural relations refer to cultural relations between actors in a particular region, which be deconstructed into three levels, that is, utensil, institution, and concept. This article analyzes the three elements of the geo-cultural relations between China and Thailand—overseas Chinese and Chinese, trans-boundary channel, and Buddhism culture. Then, this article explores the dynamics of the Sino-Thai geo-cultural relations, from the perspectives of utensil, institution, and concept.
