Abstract

Human body idioms are an amazing flower rooted in the fertile soil of Chinese. It is the essence of Chinese. Human body idioms have a wide range of sources, diverse types, and rich semantic connotations. From the view of culture, human body idioms contain a certain Semantic inclination, that is, using the body to map the entire world. This is the result of the thought that “man is an integral part of nature” and aesthetic appeal of “people-oriented”.
