Development of a set of Activities for Enhancing Skills in Problem Analysis of Four-Step About Moving in a Straight Line to Increase the Academic Achievement of Matayom Suksa 4 Students of Triamudomsuksanomklao Samutprakarn School

Abstract

          The objectives of this research were (1) to create and find the efficiency of activity sets to enhance analytical skills through four-step problem solving process on linear motion for Mathayomsuksa 4 students of Triamudomsuksa-nomklao Samutprakan School in Samutprakan province in order to be effective according to the criteria of 80/80. (2) To develop Arithmetic Word Problem Solving Skill through the activities package in Four-Step Arithmetic Word Problem Solving Skill on Rectilinear Motion. (3) to compare students’ learning achievement on using a series of activities to enhance analytical skills through four-step problem solving process on linear motion for Mathayom Suksa 4 students of Triamudomsuksanomklao Samutprakan School. the sample groups were 44 students in Mathayom Suksa Year 4/3. The research tools were three sets of activities to enhance the problem analysis of the four-step problems on linear motion , 7 learning management plans , A test for measuring achievement in linear motion 30 questions.
          The findings were as follows (1) The efficiency of the activity sets to enhance analytical skills through the four-step problem solving process on linear motion of Mathayomsuksa 4 students at Triamudomsuksa-nomklao Samutprakan School was built effectively in accordance with the 80/80 standard with the value E₁/E₂ is 81.93/80.51 (2) The percentage of the score in the activities package of Arithmetic Word Problem Solving Skill on Rectilinear Motion Score, the sample group were able to pass the criteria of 70 with 44 students, accounting for 100%. (3)  Additional Physics Learning Achievement of Mathayomsuksa  4 Students on Linear Motion After the learning was organized using a set of activities to enhance the analytical skills of the four-step problem process on linear motion. The mean of the achievement score was 23.45, Which is in accordance with the intended purpose And has statistical significance at the .05 level.
