The Study of the Componemts and Management Approaches of the Student Support System to Promote the Adaptability of Students in Primary Schools in the Lower Northern

Abstract
This research aims to study the components and management approaches of the student support system to enhance the adaptability of students in primary schools in the Lower Northern Region. The study is divided into three phases:1) Synthesizing documents and managing the student support system to promote students’ adaptability in primary schools. This involved a document study of principles, theories, and guidelines for the student support system, educational administration, and processes involved in managing student care and adaptability. The data collection tool was a content analysis table, and the data were analyzed through content synthesis. 2) Studying the management approaches for the student support system to promote adaptability in primary school students by interviewing 11 experts with knowledge and experience in student support system management. The experts were selected through purposive sampling. The data collection tool used was an interview, and the data were analyzed using content analysis. 3) Examining best practices in model schools with an excellent student support system, which have won district or national awards. Three schools were selected based on size: a large school, a medium school, and a small school, involving 6 participants, including school principals and teachers responsible for the student support system. The data collection tool used was an interview, and the data were analyzed through content analysis.
The research results revealed that the components and management approaches of the student support system to promote the adaptability of students in primary schools in the Lower Northern Region consist of three main aspects:1) Factors in managing the student support system, 2) Processes of managing the student support system, and3) Student adaptability, which can be categorized into four areas: academic adaptability, social adaptability, personal emotional adaptability, and physical health adaptability.
