Development of a Flipped Classroom Learning Management System for Calculus 2 Focused on the Application of Calculus in Mathematics Education to Enhance Undergraduate Students' Skills in Using Teaching Media, Roi Et Rajabhat University

Abstract

          This study is a quasi-experimental research with the objectives of 1) developing a flipped classroom learning plan for Calculus 2, focusing on the application of calculus in mathematics education to enhance the teaching media skills of undergraduate students at Rajabhat Roi Et University to achieve an effectiveness standard of 80/80; 2) comparing the learning outcomes in Calculus 2, focusing on the application of calculus in mathematics education, before and after the course among undergraduate students at Rajabhat Roi Et University using a flipped classroom approach; and 3) examining the teaching media skills of undergraduate students who studied using the flipped classroom method in the first semester of the academic year 2026, involving 23 specifically selected students.
           The research tools included 1) the learning management plan using the flipped classroom approach, 2) a test measuring learning outcomes for the flipped classroom, and 3) an instrument to measure teaching media skills. Data were analyzed using percentages, means, standard deviations, and a t-test for dependent samples. The research found that 1) the flipped classroom learning plan for undergraduate students at Rajabhat Roi Et University was effective, with an E1/E2 ratio of 80.87/81.09, which is higher than the set standard; 2) the learning capabilities of the undergraduate students showed statistically significant improvements in learning outcomes after the course at the .05 level; and 3) the teaching media skills after studying were rated as high.
