Abstract

          This research aims to 1. Study and collect data on purchasing each type of product or service, the needs of the purchasing department when compared with the types of purchasing available in the Oracle Applications purchasing system, 2. Study the current purchasing system to know the details of existing or future products or services, 3. Design and develop the Oracle Applications purchasing system to support the needs and be consistent with business operations. The sample case study is Suvarnabhumi Superware Company Limited. From the study of the needs of the purchasing department, it can be met by using the Oracle Applications purchasing system to support the work. The Oracle Applications system has prepared 4 types of purchase orders for selection in the system: 1. Standard purchase order, 2. Plan purchase order, 3. Blanket purchase order, 4. Contract, which can be compared for purchasing various product and service categories as appropriate. The results of the development when using the Oracle Applications purchasing system Compare the types of purchasing that are appropriate for the product or service category to be able to manage and control the procurement of products or services effectively, such as having a price separation function that is useful for purchasing in large quantities, notifications when ordering products are not as planned. These things facilitate users to work more easily, helping to reduce errors for users very well, resulting in more efficient procurement and lower business costs.
