The Development of Learning Activity on Factors Affecting Chemical Reaction Rates by Design Thinking with POEE Learning to Promote Learning Achievement and Creativity of Mattayom Suksa 5 Students

Abstract
The objectives of this research were 1.to enhance students’ creative thinking abilities, 2.to assess the satisfaction level in learning, and 3.to evaluate learning achievement before and after instruction. The sample of a study included 62 students of the Mathayom suksa 5 total 257 population selected during the 2023 academic year using cluster sampling. Collaborative design thinking alongside Predict-Observe Explore-Explain (POEE) learning were used to enhance both learning outcomes and creativity concerning factors influencing chemical reaction rates. Research instruments comprised five lesson plans which focused on factors affecting chemical reaction rates, a situational test measuring the creative thinking abilities after learning, a post-learning satisfaction questionnaire, and an achievement test in the pretest-posttest. The statistics used in this study were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test. Findings revealed that 1.the average score of situational tests measuring creative thinking abilities after learning was the highest level and when compared with 75 percent of the criterion, it was found that the average score of situational tests after learning was significantly higher at the .05 level of statistical significance. 2.The average score of the students’ satisfaction after learning was on the highest level and when compared with 75 percent of the criterion, it was found that the average score of the students’ satisfaction after learning was significantly higher at the .05 level of statistical significance. 3.The average score of the post-test was higher than the average score of the pre-test and when compared with 75 percent of the total score, it was found that the average score of the post-test was significantly higher at the 0.05 level of statistical significance.
