The Factors Affected Efficiency of Financial Report by the Defense Finance Department Personnel in the Office of the Permanent Secretary for Defense

Abstract

            This study aims to achieve two main objectives (1) To investigate the motivating factors influencing the financial and accounting performance of Defense Finance Department personnel within the Office of the Permanent Secretary for Defense. (2) To examine the supporting factors that affect the efficiency of financial and accounting operations carried out by the Department of Defense Finance personnel within the Office of the Permanent Secretary for Defense. Data for this research were collected from 150 Defense Finance Department personnel within the Office of the Permanent Secretary for Defense by using questionnaires. The statistical method were employed for the analysis includeing descriptive statistics which are frequency, percentage, mean, variance, and multiple regression analysis.
            The study findings were as following (1) the study indicatet that personnel of the Defense Finance Department within the Office of the Permanent Secretary for Defense was positive in ease of motivating factors, and high level. (2) Regarding supporting factors, the study also found that overall, the opinion of personnel of the Department of Defense Finance within the Office of the Permanent Secretary for Defense was positive and high level. (3) The study's results showed that the opinion otpersonnel within the Department of Defense Finance at the Office of the Permanent Secretary for Defense generally was positive in case of the efficiency of financial and accounting operations, and high level. (4) It was observed that both motivating factors and supporting factors had the positive impact on the financial and accounting performance of the Department of Defense Finance personnel within the Office of the Permanent Secretary for Defense, influencing the quality and quantity of work. This impact was found to be statistically significant at the 0.05 level.
