Developing a Policy to Promote Employment for the Elderly of Local Administrative Organizations in Wachirabarami District Phichit Province

Abstract

          The objectives of this research are 1) to explore employment conditions by developing policies to promote employment; Work for the elderly of local government organizations in Wachirabarami District Phichit Province 2) to study the problems Affecting the development of policies to promote employment for the elderly of local government organizations in Wa Chirabarami District.            The results of the research found that
           1.) Survey of employment conditions towards the development of policies to promote employment for the elderly of the organization. Local government in Wachirabarami District Phichit Province found that the overall level was at a moderate level (X =2.73;S.D.= 0.71) When classified into each area, it was found that the employment situation was at a high level in 2 areas: Need for elderly workers in the community (X = 3.97; S.D. = 0.69) and the aspect of building self-esteem in the community Elderly people (X = 3.87; S.D. = 0.93) and are at the lowest level in terms of wages. Elderly welfare (X =1.66; S.D. = 0 .55) 2.) Problems affecting the development of policies to promote employment for the elderly of the organization. Local government in Wachirabarami District Phichit Province found that budget constraints (Beta =761) Problems in creating new perspectives in society for the elderly (Beta = 397) in terms of lack of coordination.
