Buddhist leadership development model for monastic administration Patriarchal in the Sangha Administrative Region, Region 5

Abstract

          The objectives of this research were 1) to study the level of Buddhist administration leadership 2) to study Buddhist administration leadership development model, and 3) The evaluation of Buddhist administration leadership development model. This research used mixed method research. The quantitative research collected data from Buddhist administration leadership zone 5 sample group of 349 monks. The research tool was a questionnaire. The qualitative research collected data from 12 key informants, consisting 2 persons who graduated from Thai Buddhist universities. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The research results revealed that :
          1) The Buddhist leadership of Buddhist administration leadership was high in total (  = 3.73, S.D. = 0.713). When considered in the details in each aspect, it was found that personnel management was an average included at the highest level (  = 4.29, S.D. = 0.707).
          2) The result of learning from Buddhist administration leadership development model of Buddhist administration leadership zone was divided into 5 part: consisting of planning, Organizational aspect, Personnel management, Administration, and supervision.
          3) The evaluation of Buddhist administration leadership development model was high in total. When considered in the details in each aspect, it was found that in high level at all aspects the highest part of the result was the accuracy of the model (  = 4.46).
